"The best camera is the one you have with you"

 

 

Well, that's true ...

 

 

One Christmas the family decided to upgrade their cameras. The grandson, me, was given the oldest Kodak and the rest is my personal history. Within a year my father built me a darkroom.

 

 

Today I take photographs only for myself. I'm always delighted when they appeal to others.

 

While I do digital photography and multimedia, analogue is my format of choice. I love the concentration on subject, composition, light and the tools at hand. 

 

 

I also enjoy using various cameras, lenses, and films as appropriate - much like a painter might decide between oil, water colour, or acrylic ... between pencil, a certain brush, or a knife ...
